Pitch Golf-Trackman partnership looks to fuel diversity in golf

Pitch Golf Partners has announced a strategic partnership with Trackman.

The partnership will see Trackman units deployed across current and future Pitch destinations to grow the game across a wider audience.

Pitch, which is a modern golf club focusing on providing a welcoming and inclusive golf experience at all skill levels, aims to open more sites across the country and has just announced an international expansion into Dublin.

A long-term lease has been signed in Dublin’s premier retail destination, Grafton Place, which will offer a unique site that combines leading technology, professional coaching and a contemporary socialising experience.

“The Dublin site is testament to the strength of our concept and the belief in our brand by the landlord to bring Pitch to such a prestigious development,” Pitch Co-founder Chris Ingham said.

“We believe that golf has the potential to be more diverse and inclusive,” Elliot Godfrey, Co-Founder and CEO of Pitch added.

“Our partnership with Trackman aligns perfectly with this vision. By combining our strengths, we can introduce more people to the joys of golf and make the sport accessible to a broader audience.”

In the last 20 years, Trackman has developed solutions that provide the most accurate, real-time data on club delivery, ball impact, launch, flight and landing.

Trackman technology has helped to better the game for professionals and amateurs and new graphics have helped enhance the indoor golf experience.

“We are very impressed by the concept Pitch has developed, and how they make the sport more inclusive and diverse to the benefit of golfers and everyone in the industry,” Trackman’s CEO Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen said.

“We are excited to see members and guests of Pitch use our technology and to see the Pitch team use our software infrastructure to develop their business much further.

Discussions have taken place between Pitch and Trackman for a year and both Ingham and Godfrey have been impressed by Trackman’s commitment to indoor golf, which they see as an area of tremendous growth.

Pitch is aiming to continually bridge the gap between seasoned golfers and newcomers with environments that everyone can enjoy.
