How to control your ball in the wind
In the latest episode of his instruction series, elite coach and YouTube star Dan Whittaker met with NCG at Trump International Golf Links to take us through what to do when faced with wind and how best to control your ball when facing different shots.
When your hitting into the wind the main thing you need to get right is your posture. Keeping a good posture will allow you to control the flight better.
Feel like the zip of your jacket or the buttons stay on top of the ball which will allow you to apply more pressure with your right palm towards the ground.
When you are hitting downwind you want your peak height to be higher compared to hitting into wind.
To do this you want to angle your upper body behind the ball and really commit to staying behind it.
