The PGA Tour Champions ‘2025 schedule will feature 28 tournaments and the highest purse in the history of the tour.
20 states and three other countries will be visited on the 2025 roadshow, with Morocco, England and Canada being the three nations other than the United States on the schedule.
There will be one new event on the 28-tournament calendar, with the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational being added. The American Family Insurance Championship will also change, featuring a team format for the first time.
The schedule will focus on the five senior major championships – the Regions Traditions, KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, US Senior Open, Kaulig Companies Championship and the Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex.
All five major championships will take place over the space of just three months, with May, June and July being the big months for the calendar, culminating in the Senior Open Championship at Sunningdale.
As always, the PGA Tour Champions season will finish with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship where the winner will take home a share of $3 million.
PGA Tour Champions President Miller Brady said: “I’m excited to share the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions schedule. Next season promises even greater heights for the Champions Tour, as we continue to build on the tremendous foundation already in place.
“The partnership we share with our title sponsors and tournaments is second to none and their support can be seen across our Tour, from the increased purses to the charitable support in the local communities where we play.
“In 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame invitational – which will provide unique and exciting opportunities for fans of golf and football – as well as the new team format at the American Family Insurance Championship. The 2025 season is sure to be a thrilling one, and we look forward to another fantastic year.”
