SeeMore has plenty of major credibility and are perhaps the most under-appreciated golf brand on the market. Now they have a new option with the SeeMore Mini Giant HTX putter and Jack Backhouse took it out to see if it’s any good.
SeeMore is a brand with a rich history, famously used by major champions like Payne Stewart and Zach Johnson. Despite its proven success, it remains a somewhat underrated choice among everyday golfers. They have now introduced the SeeMore Mini Giant HTX Putter which is a fresh take on mallet design. Here’s how it performed in our full SeeMore Mini Giant HTX putter review…
The SeeMore Mini Giant HTX Putter is a standout option for golfers seeking consistency in alignment and short-putt accuracy. Its innovative RifleScope Technology simplifies the setup process and promotes a square face through impact. While it may struggle slightly with ball speed on long putts, its overall performance and feedback make it a compelling choice for those looking to refine their short game.
SeeMore Mini Giant HTX Putter Review: First Impressions
Mallet design
The SeeMore Mini Giant HTX Putter immediately caught my eye with its Fang-style mallet design and distinct RifleScope Technology. From my first glance, I knew it was clear that this putter is built with alignment and stability in mind.
Balance
Its sleek black finish and copper-weighted fangs give it a unique aesthetic that feels both modern and classic. Picking it up, the balance is apparent, and it sits squarely behind the ball, promoting confidence before even making a stroke.
NCG Verdict
Short putts
During testing, I found the Mini Giant HTX particularly impressed on short putts. The RST alignment system made it incredibly easy for me to set up confidently over the ball, which I definitely think helped deliver consistent accuracy from three to eight feet.
Additionally, the centre-shafted design, combined with the balanced weight distribution, work to instil confidence during critical moments on the green.
RifleScope Technology – can you see the red dot?
In terms of tech, one of the standout features of the Mini Giant HTX is SeeMore’s patented RifleScope Technology. This alignment system consists of two white lines and a red dot situated on the heel side of the top line. The concept is simple yet powerful. When you set up correctly, the shaft hides the red dot, ensuring the putter face is square to the target. This immediate feedback turns the putter into more than just a club, it virtually becomes a training aid in its own right.
Weighting
The Mini Giant HTX is a centre-shafted, Fang-style mallet that distributes weight towards the perimeter, enhancing its forgiveness. This design choice makes it forgiving on off-center strikes, a common issue for many golfers.

In addition, SeeMore has included copper weights strategically placed in the heel and toe sections, promoting better stability and reducing face twisting on mishits.
The grooved milling on the face delivers a smooth, true roll and I think what is a satisfying sound at impact. The ball seemed to glide off the face with minimal skidding, setting it on its intended line right away.
Long putts
Long putts, however, exposed some drop-off in ball speed on toe strikes. Although the copper weights help mitigate the effect, I still thought it was noticeable, particularly on faster greens.
Final Verdict
Alignment feedback
Overall, I think the SeeMore Mini Giant HTX is a well-rounded putter that stands out due to its alignment technology and thoughtful design. While it may still have some slight drop-off on toe hits during long putts, its overall forgiveness, combined with the RifleScope alignment system, makes it an excellent choice.
SeeMore, as a brand, I think are somewhat under-appreciated but I love them. I would go as far as saying I’d opt for them over L.A.B if I was in need of a putter refresh.
