Ping Heppler putters: First impressions
Everyone should know by now I’m a stickler for an nontraditional putter, especially a big mallet, so the Tomcat 14 caught my eye straight away. Across the range I really like the black and copper colour combination which is really eye catching.
Ping Heppler putters: The technology
The putters are multi-material providing forgiveness and consistency. Lighter aluminium is combined with steel creating optimal CG for high MOI. The TomCat 14 model is the highest MOI in the range and features a unique 14-dot alignment aid inspired by airport runway lights.
The Heppler putters feature a machined, solid steel face giving a firmer feel and sound at impact. All the putters feature a new stiffer, adjustable shafts which can be altered from 32 to 36 inches and comes in a Black Chrome finish.
Ping Heppler putters: NCG verdict
Copper colouring is really in at the moment and I think it contrasts great with the black on these putters to provide striking aesthetics and alignment cues.
