First Impressions
If you’re a traditionalist, it may be time to look away. Golf boots are certainly a different offering to the golf market, but as I found out last winter, they are extremely practical for battling winter in the north of England.
This new Agarve model looks great. For a golf boot they are sleek and stylish, and I love the incorporation of two different textures of black leather on these. The gold pops are another great touch.

On Course Testing
Straight out of the box, these fit like a glove, I typically wear a UK size 6 golf shoe and found this size was a perfect fit in this model. The boots are fleece lined, which makes them extremely soft and comfortable to wear, but also adds a massive amount of warmth. We know we lose the most heat at our extremities, and I quite often walk off the golf course with completely numb toes in winter from the cold weather. So far, these shoes have managed to eliminate that.
Given these are a winter shoe, you would perhaps expect them to feature spikes on the sole. Duca’s spikeless outsole is one of the best in the game, which I trust to keep me stable in all weather and ground conditions.

I think it is worth noting, given these are firm quality leather, how much support is provided around the ankle which is especially helpful in winter when walking on wet unstable ground. The extra height also has the added bonus of allowing you to tuck your trousers or leggings into these and stop yourself from getting completely covered in mud.

These are advertised as waterproof, and I can confirm they tick all the boxes here. I have played in these in light rain and heavy rain, as well as trekking through my fair share of long wet rough, and my feet have remained dry throughout. If you are someone who plays golf no matter the weather, these are certainly a great all-weather option.
Overall I have really enjoyed testing these golf shoes, I love the added warmth and the grip and stability which makes them favourites when it comes to picking which shoes I will wear out on the course this winter.
