Wilson already dominate the ball market in the NFL, NBA and tennis, and now they want to make serious inroads in golf, too – starting with the Triad. New for 2022, the Wilson Triad golf ball has had a complete makeover in both design and performance, so let’s take a closer look…

First impressions
I really like the minimalistic styling on both the ball and the packaging. The side stamp is different and catches the eye.

Most importantly, though, Wilson’s new Triad golf ball feels like a premium ball. And, ultimately, isn’t that what we all want?
Target market
The Triad is designed for the player ready to take their performance to the next level.
“The competitive golfer striving to break 80 is who Wilson Labs had in mind while engineering the T3 Technology of Triad, allowing for pinpoint accuracy from anywhere on the course”
Tim Clarke, General Manager, Wilson Golf

The technology
The new Triad ball is – you guessed it – a three-piece design which Wilson are saying is their most technically advanced golf ball ever.
The tri-balanced ball construction is made up of a rubber core, a thermoplastic layer, and a super-thin urethane cover.
It is an 85 compression ball and also has Wilson’s thinnest ever cast urethane cover. This increases friction for more grip and extra spin on short game and iron shots.
