This week, Europe are set to take on the United States in an attempt to claim their fourth Solheim Cup in a row.
The Europeans were kitted out in Ping gear for their 2021 and 2023 successes. They will be hoping that it’s a similar fate at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, as the Americans play host.
Ping say they have worked closely with Team Captain, Suzann Pettersen, to create sets of uniforms to help inspire the athletes to victory.
Ping Solheim Cup Clothing: Day One
The opening day outfit provides a classic European feel and look to what is commonly associated with European teams at match play events. They do say, first impressions count.
It looks like Ping have taken that saying seriously. To start the week right, Team Europe will be wearing a classic-looking polo, with a familiar colour way scheme. The polo has a white base, whilst incorporating the other synonymous colours of Europe, blue and yellow.

As well as retaining its vintage look, the polo also acts as a double with its performance benefits. It’s all good-looking the part, but the twelve members of Team Europe need to be able to play like it.
Ping have included a sporty stripe design on the sleeves of the polo and mid-layer jacket, which incorporate the yellow, European stars.
In addition to the ever-present polo and mid-layer jackets, Ping have also added a hooded jacket to their Solheim Cup line-up. Something may be of more use towards the end of the week, with showers expected during Singles’ Day. However, if you are going to the event don’t worry too much, temperatures will still be up there, peaking at 28°C during the week.
