Callaway Elyte Irons: The Technology
The brand have constructed a new Speed Frame construction to help boost those numbers up and delver quicker ball speeds. The jump in speed helps to achieve further carry distances for those long approach shots into the heart of the putting surface.
Callaway have crafted this new construction to incorporate advanced design elements which allow for additional patented urethane microspheres. In short this helps to dampen the vibrations from the topline, improving the sound and feel of the irons. The brand believe they continue to have industry-leading ball speed with this new range.
The speed frame construction also gives these game-improvement irons more of a premium players’ iron feel. Something that is extremely desirable amongst low handicappers especially.
Similar to the Callaway Elyte drivers the irons incorporate the new Ai10x face into the clubs. This technological advancement allows each model to be optimised for every player and their needs whether it be forgiveness, launch or speed.
As the name of the face technology suggests, these irons help to deliver 10x more control points than the previous Ai Smart Face used in past generations. The face and shape combination work in sync for complete performance.
Additionally, possibly a tad surprising, these irons feature an all-new tri-sole design. This is something that is typically explored in players’ irons but Callaway have opted to include it in these game-improvement offerings for added performance.

The leading edge of the irons have a shaper grind for better turf interaction as the club enters and exits the ground. This design is inspired by research on the professional tours where it benefits the pros greatly as it improves speed and forgiveness.
