AG Club Match Play Week – 20% off golf balls
Titleist Pro V1 – £49.99 reduced to £39.99
Titleist have improved the performance of the 2025 model from the old model.
Longer distances off tee have been provided from a lower spin rate. Being able to hit the ball further is always going to be a big selling pointer most club golfers and this doesn’t disappoint in that department. To accompany the increased distances a soft feel is also promoted for golfer’s short game.
The latest Titleist TruFeel did seriously impressed me and even exceeded some of the expectations I had for it. It features a True Touch core and a new 3.0 TruFlex cover, this two-piece golf ball offers durability and a surprisingly decent spin performance at lower swing speeds.

While it may not suit high-speed swingers due to lower ball speed and reduced control on full shots, it remains a solid option for those looking for a soft, forgiving golf ball at an affordable price.
Additionally, the performance with the driver in hand was equally as impressive with strong distances on offer. I’ve always been under the impression that you can’t go wrong with a Callaway golf ball and that is the case again here with this latest offering.
It’s not built for maximum distance off the tee for high-speed players, but its soft feel and surprisingly high short-game spin make it a standout in the lower price category.
It’s not hard to see why the TaylorMade is entrusted by Rory McIlroy and so many other Tour players. The distances off the tee are fantastic but it is around the greens where this golf ball really comes into it’s own.
The spin rates are optimal for enhanced control and extra spin. It also feels really soft of both the wedge and putter face thanks to the premium urethane cover. There really isn’t anything to complain about with this golf ball, it has that all-round premium quality.
A hidden gem! The Wilson Triad 2025 is an excellent all-around golf ball that delivers strong spin, good distance, and reliable performance — especially for mid-handicap golfers. Its forgiveness, quality construction, and affordability make it a great option.
I was particularly impressed with its performance around the greens with a wedge in hand. The feel was really good from the urethane cover and there was plenty of spin for optimal control on the putting surface.
I do really like this golf ball. A golf ball that is definitely more suited to faster swinging players. If you are able to utilise the Callaway Chrome Tour then you will unlock a nice, soft feel around the greens as well as top-level short game control on the putting surface.
Srixon Soft Feel – £24.99 reduced to £19.99
Standout choice for mid to high handicap golfers! Like the name suggests this is a soft golf ball that has plenty of distance to offer. Priced reasonably, this is a great option for a range of club golfers.
It is around the greens where this Srixon golf ball really comes up trumps. There is plenty of spin and control on offer from what is an exceptional two-piece constructed golf ball.
The Volvik UR3 Tour Soft is a fantastic option for golfers who want the feel and spin of a premium urethane golf ball without paying a premium price. It delivers impressive greenside control, a practical alignment aid, and reliable performance off the tee,.
While the feel is a little firmer than the very softest premium balls and driver spin could be slightly higher, this is still a standout value for mid-to low-handicap players looking to make the step up into tour-level golf balls without breaking the bank.
If you’re a mid-to-high handicapper or someone with a moderate swing speed, the Bridgestone E6 Soft might be one of the best value balls on the market.
