TravisMathew and Guinness Launch a Limited EditionDaily Pro Hybrid Plus Golf Shoe – is it a case of good things come to those that wait?
When two iconic names, one from golf apparel, the other from the world of stout, come together, you know something interesting is brewing. The limited-edition TravisMathew x Guinness Daily Pro Hybrid Plus golf shoe blends laid-back West Coast style with rich Irish heritage. But is it just a gimmicky collab, or does it have real performance benefits on the course? We tested a pair out to see whether this stylish drop lives up to the hype.
The TravisMathew x Guinness Daily Pro Hybrid Plus is a stylish, limited-edition golf shoe that blends premium design with serious performance. Featuring subtle Guinness branding, a waterproof build, and all-terrain grip, it’s as functional as it is fashionable. Lightweight and trainer-like, it’s perfect both on and off the course. A standout collab—just act fast before they’re gone.
PROS
Stylish, premium design with Guinness-branded details
Exceptional comfort and support for long rounds
All-terrain grip delivers reliable performance across conditions
Lightweight, trainer-like feel great for off-course wear
TravisMathew’s and Guinness have recently teamed up to release the Daily Pro Hybrid Plus Golf Shoe. First impressions? These are brilliant. What a really cool collaboration, perhaps my favourite of recent years. A really clean classic TravisMathew design with noticeable but subtle tips of the cap to the famous Guinness branding. A dark brown colour, with white base with tints of gold throughout the shoe all come together to look really smart.
On the tongue of the shoe there is a both the Travis and Guinness logo with the famous ‘Guinness’ on the heel flap. Perhaps my favourite bits of the design are those you wouldn’t notice straight away. The insole is patterned with all the classic Guinness logos and the sole of the shoe displaying as pint .
NCG Review
Styling aside, these shoes also tick all the boxes required from a comfort, performance and stability point of view. The previous mentioned sole (with the pint on it) includes an all terrain grip to keep you steady throughout your round. Throughout the couple of rounds of testing the grip performed really well. The grip itself is built with hardened rubber points which really keep you secure across all lies and parts of the golf course.
The cushioning throughout the shoe is excellent, they easily slip on and off but keep your foot very stable once in. The cushioned sole is very comfortable throughout the round of golf and as you can tell in the title of the product, are also great for walking around day to day.

I tested the shoes across two rounds of golf, and despite the glorious weather of late I managed to play one of these rounds in some wet weather (good for the testing at least). Pleasing to say that as mentioned in the product description of being 100% waterproof, this statement came to fruition. Completely waterproof and the all terrain grip previously mentioned held firm as well.
With all the technology packed inside here, they were still extremely lightweight, Almost trainer like which translates well into their off course use. They easily fall into the category of on and off-course appeal. Practical and stylish on, comfortable and smart off.
Final Thoughts
Overall, what a great product. They tick all of the boxes from a comfort and performance side, and the design really is brilliant. The style of the shoe really does steal the show, TravisMathew and Guinness have nailed the balance of branding and a clean finish to present an excellent golf shoe.
If you’re in the market for some footwear, I’d definitely recommend to take a look – just do it quickly as the only con here is that they are a limited edition release.
