Introduction
Looking for a comfortable and easy-to-wear golf shoe that keeps you dry on the course? These Skechers hands free Slip-ins might be just what you need. Keep reading our full Skechers Ladies Slip-ins Waterproof Flow Si Golf Shoe review to discover how this stylish slip-on combines convenience, comfort, and waterproof performance to elevate your game.
Skechers, a brand that you instantly associate with ultra comfort. I took these straight out of the box and wore them for a full round. There was a slight bit of apprehension as to whether I would survive the round pain free – but I can happily report back that they were fab!
They were very lightweight, waterproof, supportive and for spikeless golf shoes very grippy. I firmly enjoyed my round and even received complements on the shoes.
Lightweight – when you first put these shoes on this is what you instantly notice.
Potential issues with sizing – Skechers do come up big and so you might have to find the ‘Skechers size’ that is right for you.
Out the box comfort – some shoes you need to wear in and persist with. No such issues here, the out the box comfort is exceptional
Stability – for a spikeless golf shoe there were no issues in muddy, slightly slippy, conditions
Easy to clean – they look like they might not clean up well but with a good cloth any mud is easily wiped off
Waterproofness – no issues after a thorough soaking under the tap
First Impressions
Comfort and style
Skechers are well known for their comfort but these absolutely don’t lack in style. Out of the box for the first time I really enjoyed the sport shoe style, they look comfortable. They have a sleek synthetic upper with a textured feel. The white colourway that fades to a darker ‘natural’ colourway looks great. They are also available in two other colours.
Size down
In terms of sizing, I wore these in a UK 7. Sketchers are definitely a brand that comes up big. For reference in the G/FORE shoes I recently reviewed I wore a UK 8, same with Adidas. So this is something worth considering if you’re looking to buy.
Fastening options
I tested the laced up version but Skechers does offer these shoes with a ‘twist fit’ or some of you may know it as BOA design. I personally prefer standard laces but I’m aware that the twist fit design is excellence for some golfer’s – much quicker and easier.
How I undertook the review
I undertook the review by wearing the golf shoes over two full rounds at my local golf club, allowing me to evaluate their performance in real playing conditions. At the time of testing the weather in the UK is somewhat mixed and so the shoes had to encounter damp and muddy conditions. So, a good test of their stability and ease to clean.
During these rounds, I paid close attention to comfort, grip, and durability.

What I found
Lightweight
Heading out on the course I was impressed with how light these shoes were. Skechers have used their Skechers Patented Arch Fit® insole system. This offers podiatrist-certified arch support that has been developed with 20 years of data and 120,000 unweighted foot scans. This padding moulded really well to my feet and I completely forgot these were even straight out of the box.
Stability
This cushioning is also impressive as the ECO FLIGHT™ construction, meaning that it’s made with at least 10% recycled materials.
These are a spikeless golf shoe, with a tration outer sole. For spikeless shoes they were really solid and stable. I walked around two rounds comfortably, feeling well supported with every shot.
Easy clean
I didn’t get too muddy out on the course but I did need to freshen the Skecher’s Spin-ins up. They don’t look like a material that would polish up that well – I was very much wrong about this. The waterproof outer material means that they wiped off nicely with a cloth and water.
Waterproof qualities
In terms of their waterproof-ness, I didn’t get the chance to wear them in the rain but I did thoroughly soaked them and they didn’t give in to any water.
NCG Final Say
Overall, I did really enjoy wearing these shoes. Sketchers are very much known as a comfort brand and they absolutely delivered on that.
They’re also a great sporty looking shoe that could certainly be worn off the course if desired.
How they compare to other shoes
The Adidas Adizero ZG Women’s Golf Shoe was probably my favourite pair of shoes last year. However, these Skechers shoes reminded me very much of the Adizero’s.
As a spikeless waterproof, easy to clean, golf shoe they are hard to fault. Just remember to size down.
