NCG Summary

NCG SUMMARY
The Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond Driver is built for speed-first golfers. Callaway’s new multi-material Tri-Force face delivers some of the fastest ball speeds seen this season, while the deep, compact profile produces a penetrating flight that better players will love.
It’s not designed to be forgiving or easy to launch, but when paired with the right loft and shaft the Quantum Triple Diamond can produce outstanding distances. For confident ball strikers looking to maximise speed without sacrificing feel or control, this is one of Callaway’s most impressive Triple Diamond drivers to date.
PROS
- Incredible ball speeds
- Carry and distances are optimal
- Solid feel
CONS
- Offers very little in terms of forgiveness
First Impressions
It did wonders for my ego this thing when stood at address. It made me feel like a proper player with it’s compact and tour-like looks.
With having such a small profile it actually makes the shaft seem fairly long. It sits square at address and has none of the visual bulk seen in the more forgiving Quantum models.

I love what Callaway has done with the black carbon and incorporating into the crown and sole. Additionally, I did feel as though the face was especially deep and looked massive, which made me not leave anything behind when swinging the club.
Overall, I think it is definitely one of the best looking drivers behind the ball.
NCG Verdict
At the heart of the Quantum Triple Diamond is Callaway’s new Tri-Force Face. This is a brand new multi-material face construction made up of titanium, poly mesh and carbon.
By reinforcing the titanium with additional materials, Callaway has been able to make it thinner, allowing the face to flex more and generate higher ball speeds.

The result, for me, was mid 160s mph consistent ball speeds. This optimised my distances with my carry yardages approaching the 290-yard mark, with one of my strikes even going close to crossing the sacred 300 yard marker.
Like with any Triple Diamond and low spin driver, you will need to be a quick swinging, consistent ball striker to truly unlock its full potential.
Say that, I do think this driver is a lot more useable than it may first appear.

Final Thoughts
I have always been under the impression that Callaway construct their tour drivers as good as anyone, if not the best. And, the Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond driver is no joke either.
The ball speeds were impressive and even the spin rates stayed low even on mishits, which is a credit to their AI face technology.
This isn’t a forgiving option for the masses, but for stronger players looking to squeeze every yard from the tee, the Quantum Triple Diamond represents a genuine step forward in performance and feel.
