TaylorMade continue to push the boundaries of game-improvement irons with the launch of the Qi Max and Qi Max HL irons.
It’s always helpful to use golf clubs that will help elevate your game. For many club golfers, game-improvement irons tend to do just that.
The Qi Max offerings are designed to deliver unmatched distance and forgiveness performance. That sounds like the perfect recipe for us.

TaylorMade Qi Max and Qi Max HL Irons: The Technology
Being game-improvement irons, I’m sure what you want to know is how effective they deliver forgiveness. To do this TaylorMade engineers aimed to find out how they could produce straighter hitting irons.
They found that many game-improvement irons flex more in the toe area which creates more cut spin, ultimately leading to those big, dreaded slices.
To help minimise these misses out to the right, Qi Max and Qi Max HL irons feature faces engineered to flex more uniformly across the hitting surface. The idea is you’ll be able to unlock straight and longer strikes with your irons.

Both models also incorporate a sound stabilisation bar that connects the back bar to the topline to increase structural stability at address.
This is in response to the brand’s research into golfer’s preferences where they found that sound is a major factor in how golfers view the feel of their clubs. For example, areas near the top of the club face were identified as sources of harsh sounds and vibrations.
The new design has allowed TaylorMade to extend its ECHO® Damping System higher in the face. Golfers are able to take advantage of a more solid sound at impact, rather than dealing with unwanted noises.
