What clubs did Tommy Fleetwood use to win the 2019 Nedbank Golf Challenge?

Another week another European Tour play-off. And another English winner. This time Tommy Fleetwood prevailed at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, beating Marcus Kinhult at the first extra hole to bag the top prize of $2.5 million. Let’s take a look at the clubs in his bag…

What’s in Tommy Fleetwood’s bag?

Tommy Fleetwood has made big changes to his bag in recent times. After switching from the Nike Vapor to the TaylorMade M4 in 2018, the Ryder Cup star has now opted to put the company’s M5 driver in play.

The 28-year-old’s fairway wood situation seems to be ever evolving. After a lengthy relationship with his trusty Nike Vapors, he has been seen trialling the Titleist TS3 and the Ping G410.

However, he used the TaylorMade M6 three and five-wood to guide him to victory in South Africa.

The TaylorMade GAPR Lo has been in and out of Fleetwood’s bag but was present this week.

As you may remember, Fleetwood was looking for a new set of Nike Vr Pro irons but they are no longer manufactured.

He now normally uses a combo set made up of the Srixon Z785 4-iron and Tiger Woods’ TaylorMade P7-TW Proto from 5- to 9-iron.

But this week he replaced the TaylorMade 5-iron with another from Srixon.

The Englishman had been using Callaway Mac Daddy Forged wedges but has since opted for Titleist Vokey’s with three in play this week. This takes the total number of brands in his bag to five – a full-time free agent.

Fleetwood has experimented with an 11 year-old Odyssey DFX 2-Ball Blade but made the decision to put his trusted Odyssey White Hot Pro #3 back in his bag.
