Nick Taylor is proudly flying the flag for Canada on the PGA Tour and he took another step towards stardom at the start of the 2024 season.
The 35-year-old became a four-time winner on the US circuit by winning the WM Phoenix Open in February, one of the tour’s most popular stops at TPC Scottsdale.
He beat PGA Tour veteran Charlie Hoffman in a playoff with Sam Burns, Scottie Scheffler and Sahith Theegala towards the top of the regulation leaderboard.
Taylor raised the roof at the RBC Canadian Open last year when he holed a monster putt in a playoff against England’s Tommy Fleetwood to win on home soil.
The man from Winnipeg uses a Titleist TSi3 driver with a Fujikura Atmos Blue Tour Spec 6 X shaft, which goes with his Titleist TSi2 3-wood.
Titleist dominates Taylor’s golf bag as he also uses a TSR2 hybrid, a Titleist T200 4-iron and a full set of Titleist T100 irons.
A set of Vokey wedges sit at the bottom of his golf bag, but he actually uses a TaylorMade Spider Tour Red putter to buck the trend that runs through the bulk of his bag.
