Neil Shipley, a tall and long-haired golfer from Pittsburgh, made a name for himself as one of America’s top amateur players before turning professional in 2024.
In 2023, he reached the final of the US Amateur at Cherry Hills, finishing second to Nick Dunlap, and made his Masters debut, where he notably drew Tiger Woods in the final round at Augusta National. His amateur career was marked by numerous victories and high finishes, setting the stage for his transition to the professional ranks.
In his first tournament as Professional he finished tied 9th at the Beachlands Victoria Open on the 2024 PGA Tour Americas. In his first three PGA Tour events he secured two top 20 finishes and a missed cut.
His only two Professional wins have been secured on the Korn Ferry Tour. The first win came at the LECOM Suncoast Classic and his last win came in July 2025 at the The Ascendant.
