Miyu Yamashita is now a Major Champion after her victory at The AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl – after finishing second at the Women’s PGA Championship 2024. This was the first victory for the Japanese golfer outside Japan – where she has racked up 13 wins on LPGA of Japan Tour.
She qualified for the LPGA Tour 2025 by winning the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament in December 2024.
She is currently ranked 13th in the world.

A look inside Miyu Yamashita’s bag
She is a Srixon staffer with only non Srixon/Cleveland club being her TaylorMade putter.
Interestingly she uses the new ZXi for her driver and 7 wood but opts for the older Srixon models for 3 and 5 wood.
When it comes to the irons she goes for a blended set and carries three Cleveland wedges.
