It’s no secret that President Donald Trump is a golfer, but up until now, we have only heard rumours about his golfing ability and tales of his many club championship victories. That all changed after he joined Bryson DeChambeau at Trump National Bedminster Golf Club for a Break 50 episode, and we got to watch it all on YouTube.

Perhaps more interesting for me as a gear nerd was what equipment the Former President of the United States had in play during the match – and is still playing to this day.

So, let’s dive into the Donald Trump WITB 2025….

What golf clubs does Trump use?

I would describe Trump’s WITB as a very typical setup of a good player. He has lots of popular equipment in key areas of the bag. His bag does differ from many amateur golfers in that he clearly has the intuition to move to more forgiving models where needed and hasn’t let his ego keep small, unforgiving models in play.

Trump’s bag was very heavy on TaylorMade gear during his match with Bryson DeChambeau. The most obvious is that bright red Stealth Tour golf bag.

He has FIVE TaylorMade Qi10 woods in the bag (I suppose if they are good enough for Scottie and Rory!), including the TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver with a Graphite Design Tour AD shaft. His driving accuracy was incredible with this; he missed one fairway in the entire match, which was pretty good going and drove the green on the par 4, 12th hole, leading to an eagle 2!

He then carries a Qi10 3-wood, 5-wood, 7-wood, and 9-wood. Most amateurs would benefit from carrying more lofted fairway woods. They are significantly easier to strike than long irons, have more forgiveness in the head, and launch higher.

He then transitions into a set of TaylorMade Stealth irons. These are a great choice for senior golfers, as the club head design allows for more weight low in the head to get the ball launching higher. Players with less club head speed can get a good descent angle and stop the ball quicker on the greens.

As we move to the bottom of the bag, Trump transitions from TaylorMade to Titleist. He has a full set of Titleist Vokey SM10 wedges in play for use around the greens.

He then rounds out his bag with a Scotty Cameron Newport putter and a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. Despite having an unorthodox putting stroke, he used his putter with great effect, holing out for birdie and eagle numerous times while playing with Bryson.
