A veteran of the Ladies European Tour, Carlota Ciganda has won seven times on the tour since gaining her membership in 2012.
The Spaniard made an instant impact after she turned professional, winning the both the Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year. She also won the Order of Merit in her debut season after a successful amateur career which included playing at Arizona State university.
Ciganda has been an ever-present in the European Solheim Cup side since 2013, making the last six sides. Six appearances is about to turn to seven after qualifying through her placing in the Rolex Women’s World Rankings.

A look inside Carlota Ciganda’s Bag
Ciganda certainly has a mixed bag. You can find Callaway, Titleist, Srixon and Cleveland clubs all evident in her golf bag.
At the top of her bag is a Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond driver, which is the first club she uses from Callaway’s Paradym range. Additionally, the Spaniard has opted for the Paradym 3-wood.
A hybrid is absent from her bag, but instead uses a Callaway Rogue ST LS 5-wood. To also help fill the void left by an absent hybrid, the 34-year-old has elected to use a Srixon ZK MK || Utility iron.
For the rest of her irons, she uses a set of Srixon ZX7 MK ||s, from a 5 irons to a pitching wedge.
Her wedge lineup includes three different loft options, a 50°, 56° and 60°. All the wedges are from the same range the Cleveland RTX6 ZipCore Tour Rack.
Her putter choice is a switch back to Callaway with the Odyssey White Hot Pro 7 CS. Her ball of choice is the popular Titleist Pro V1x.
