Equipment: Wilson Staff launch new ‘Crossover’ C200 Irons
Wilson Staff have had more Major victories than any other brand with sixty-one, and they are launching a new range of C200 Irons to help dramatically improve distance and accuracy for the mid to high handicappers.
In order to meet the scoring needs of every type of golfer, the C200 Irons have been designed within a Feel, Crossover and Distance (F-C-D) System. Wilson Staff defines players under these three categories so that club features and benefits can be matched with specific playing styles and needs.
With this in mind the C200 Irons have been developed for the ‘Crossover’ player, who is identified as a mid to high handicapper searching for more distance and accuracy with a midsize head.
At the core of the C200 design is the FLX Face Technology, which minimises the contact points between the inner clubhead and it’s thin face.
To maximise face flex upon impact, Wilson Staff say more than two-thirds (76%) of the thin face is free from the body of the iron.
“The result is an Iron that looks and plays like no other club”. Michael Vrska, Global Director of Innovation. The C200 Irons will be available from from January 2016 in KBS Tour 90 steel and Aldila Rogue Pro Graphite shaft options.
RRP: £499 (steel shaft), £599 (graphite)
