Victor Dubuisson birdied three of his last four holes to record a second win in Turkey and kick off the Final Series in style.
An emotional Dubuisson, with just two top 10s coming into the event was behind Jaco Van Zyl but birdied the last two holes for a 66.
The highlights of his round were an incredible up-and-down from the trees at 10 before an eagle at the next courtesy of an even more precise chip.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat led on Sunday and finished two shots behind the winner with Byeong-hun An a further shot back. Race to Dubai leader Rory McIlroy shared sixth after firing a 71 as he stumbled with three bogeys around the turn.
What Dubuisson said: “It’s so hard because there were so many personal reasons why I didn’t play that much this year. It’s not because I didn’t want to play.
“That’s why I am so emotional. I played a few events on the PGA Tour at the beginning of the year and I was not feeling good to be far away from my family. I did not play well and I was feeling lonely so decided to come back to Europe. Now, for the next three or four years, I will just stay in Europe 100 per cent.
“I got my confidence back because I completely lost it months ago. I was missing everything on the greens and you feel like your game is never going to come back.”
PGA Tour: CIMB Classic – Justin Thomas
Each of the first three tournaments of the 2015-16 season have now been won by a player under 24, this week 22-year-old Justin Thomas prevailed with a record 26-under total to sneak past Adam Scott.
The American had an incredible back nine, making eagle at 10, holing a bunker shot at 13, finding water at the next for a double and then bouncing back with three birdies.

Thomas, one of Jordan Spieth’s big mates, will now join the defending champion at Augusta.
For Scott it was a big week having switched to a conventional length putter at the Presidents Cup and his new claw grip looks to be working.
Kevin Na continued his brilliant form with a share of third, having finished second in his previous two starts.
What Thomas said: “The thing I told myself is that I really didn’t do it (find the water at 14) because I was nervous. I felt like I’ve been struggling off those downhill lies and that’s what I’ve been doing, I have been chunking. Unfortunately, I had a big body of water in front of the green.
“But I just kept telling myself I controlled the tournament before that shot, so I just need to get back in it. I had four more holes to try to make some more birdies and was fortunate enough to do it.”
LPGA Tour: Blue Bay – Sei Young Kim
The South Korean rookie birdie the 72nd hole to sneak past a trio of players including Stacy Lewis.
Kim sank a seven-foot birdie putt for a 70 to record a third win on Tour, the first two came in play-offs.
Lewis led by two on the back nine but could only play the last seven holes in one over while Kim birdied 13, 14 and 18, her only blip came at the penultimate hole.
What Kim Said: “I was very upset after the 17th. My caddie told me, calm down. After two players miss that putt, I got a new opportunity come to me. So yeah, then, yeah, just keep going.
“I was like really nervous on the last putt. I can hear my heart pound. When I hit the ball, I draw in my mind, nothing, nothing, I just focus what I do. That what’s my key.”

“Stacy Lewis was my idol. She is one of my favourite players, so I’m very honored to play with her. But I win, she still is my idol.”
