The 2014 Ryder Cup video diary – Saturday
It was another early start on Saturday with the morning fourballs getting underway at 7.35am.
Europe’s top pair of Rose and Stenson got the home side off to the best possible start with their third successive win but Mahan and Furyk followed up another point for Spieth and Reed to get America back in business.
Tom Watson would have been hoping for more but Ian Poulter and Rory McIlroy fought back against Fowler and Walker to claim an unlikely half which could prove crucial.
Heading into the afternoon session Europe led 6.5/5.5.
