Patrick Rodgers star of the Web.com Tour earned his first professional win at the Columbia Championship in Bogota, Columbia.
The 22-year old American finished the tournament 17-under-par after a sudden death playoff to take his first title on the Web.com Tour and in turn his first win as a professional.
This win adds to Nike Golf’s roster of players with victories this season, now standing at 2 after Rory McIlroy’s win at the Dubai Desert Classic a fortnight ago.
Before turning professional last summer, Rodgers had studied at Stanford University breaking Tiger Woods school record for the lowest career stroke average from 71.1 to 70.33.
