Broadhurst the pick among star-studded line-up at One Green Way Pro-Am

Featuring some of the world's greatest golfing legends, the One Green Way Pro-Am is already gaining a reputation as the most sought-after private golf tournament in Europe

In a star-studded mixed Pro-Am golf tournament featuring a dazzling line-up of legends from the world of golf, it was six time European Tour winner Paul Broadhurst who triumphed at the immaculate Quinta Do Lago golf course.

Hosted by One Green Way, Portugal’s newest and most exclusive community, The One Green Way Invitational saw the likes of World Golf Hall of Fame resident Bernhard Langer, Ryder Cup winning captain Colin Montgomerie and Solheim Cup Vice Captain Dame Laura Davies compete over the three-day tournament for €332,500 prize money.

Consistency was key for the Broadhurst as the Englishman carded a sublime 66 in his first round, topped off by a 69 to finish on -13, one stroke better than nearest rival and two-time European Tour winner Gary Orr.

All of the top five finished with high quality scores; the lowest being -10 and even featured the flamboyant, cigar loving Miguel Angel Jimenez finishing comfortably on -11.

But it was Broadhurst who took home the silverware as well as €55,000 at the One Green Way Invitational Pro-Am, hosted by Jean-Noël Bioul, the former Global Head of Sponsorship for ROLEX HQ in Geneva and an adviser to the Board of One Green Way.

Now only in its second year, the One Green Way Invitational is gaining a reputation as the most sought-after private golf tournament in Europe.
