An entire supply of range balls were stolen from a Beverley course on Wednesday night.
Over 400 balls were taken from Cherry Burton, the second time the course has been targeted in as many years.
Previously, mats have also been taken from the driving range, and the police have this time been alerted to the theft.
With no markings on the balls, however, the chances of recovering the balls appears unlikely.
