KPMG Women’s PGA Championship prize money

Women’s golf has been given another significant boost as KPMG and the PGA of America have doubled the Women’s PGA Championship prize money since last year. The record purse now represents the second largest in the women’s game, behind only the $10 million offered by the US Women’s Open.

2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship prize money

The purse for the 2022 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship stands at $9 million, with the winner taking home $1.35 million.

The prize money for the third major of the year is now 300% higher than it was in 2014 – one year before KPMG and the PGA of America partnered with the LPGA Tour to take on the event. Here is the breakdown of the purse for 2022:
