How to get 2021 Open tickets

If you want to go to the 149th Open at Royal St George's, this is the best way to do it

If you’re itching to get to Royal St George’s, here’s how you get hold of 2021 Open tickets.

As always, there are plenty of ways to do this but the best way is through the Open website.

If you already had tickets for 2020…

Don’t worry. Your tickets will be valid for the new dates.

The Open’s website says “all tickets for the 149th Open, including tickets purchased before the R&A’s announcement on April 6, 2020 that the Open had been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, purchased and/or issued prior to this announcement, including any Youth (16-24 years) and/or “Kids Go Free” Junior tickets, will be automatically transferred to (and remain valid for) the new dates of Sunday July 11 to Sunday July 18, 2021″.

How to get 2021 Open tickets

Tickets for the 149th Open are currently suspended and will go on sale later this year.

To be sure of a spot, your best bet is to join the Open’s One Club.

This guarantees you priority tickets for not only next year, but 2022 at St Andrews and 2023 at Royal Liverpool too.

There are a number of other benefits to joining the One Club, including exclusive access to competitions, promotions, and content.

Visit the Open website’s One Club section for more information.

Have you thought about hospitality packages?

There are a number of different levels of hospitality available. And for 2021, the Open is introducing Origins, new hospitality experiences they say are “inspired by the Open craftsmen and experts”.

Divided into four fully-inclusive experiences – Champions, Engravers, Caddies and Scorers – each offers a unique way to enjoy the Open.

“Together they cater to every taste and budget,” they say.

The Origins packages begin from £250 per person while at the other end, the Champions package starts at £1,250 per person.

Visit the Open website’s hospitality section for more information.
