Casterton
Located on the Lancashire-Yorkshire border just inside Cumbria, golf has been played at Casterton for 50 years. The course was re-designed in 1993 and is maintained to an excellent standard by a former Forest of Arden and Loch Lomond greenkeeper.

Cheadle
Established in 1885, Cheadle is the second oldest club in Cheshire, with only Royal Hoylake boasting a longer history. The charming parkland layout boasts a wide range of par 3s and par 4s, with some holes modest in length and others, like the 437-yard 6th, playing much longer.

Flixton
Nestled in south-west Manchester, this is one of the longest nine-hole layouts in the region. Indeed, there are no par-4s on the course measuring under 350 yards, with two of the nine playing over 400 yards. Established in 1893, the parkland course moved to its current location in 1903.

Knutsford
This beautiful parkland is nestled in the National Trust owned Tatton Park, so has a serene location for golf. Settled on the highest part of the park, the course boasts wonderful views of mature trees, rolling countryside and the park’s lake.

Silecroft
This charming course is set among spectacular scenery in the heart of Cumbria, close to Windermere and the Lake District. Views from the 1st tee stretch out to the Irish Sea and the Isle of Man, with Barrow-in-Furness set away to the south and the imposing view of the Black Combe to the north.

Southport Old
Overshadowed by illustrious names nearby but the Old Links course is a terrific layout which should not be missed on a visit to the area. The links-parkland combination provides a wonderful feel over its 6,641 yards.

Whalley
A parkland course with mature trees and wonderful views of the Ribble Valley. The fairways and greens are pristine and there are many strategic bunkers and water hazards. The clubhouse dates back to 1751 and was originally a barn which has now been fully restored.
Overshadowed by illustrious names nearby but the Old Links course is a terrific layout which should not be missed on a visit to the area.
