The prize money for the 2022 FedEx Cup was set at a lucrative $75 million, which was a $15 million bump on last year’s purse.

The top 150 PGA Tour players in the FedEx Cup standings will receive payouts, with Rory McIlroy receiving a staggering $18 million following his epic comeback win at the Tour Championship.

Despite the Tour Championship counting as an official victory, there was no prize purse set for the event, with the top 30 in the FedEx Cup standings pocketing their FedEx Cup bonus instead.

If a player qualifies for the Tour Championship but is unable to compete they will receive the prize money for 30th place. No one will replace that player in the field.

The player who lifts the FedEx Cup trophy at the end of the season will also receive a five-year exemption to the PGA Tour.
