Will Painter of Kedleston Park led Derby College to victory in the third round of the Inter Collegiate Tour.
The event was held at Marriott Worsley Park on November 19 and ensures Derby College A team remain on the top of the ICT league, tied with Myerscough.
Painter returned a one over par 72 to tie for the best score of the day. This earned him 25 points in the individual Order of Merit and takes him to the top of the Tour OOM.
Performance Golf Academy Derby’s Nigel Furniss said: “It was a good performance from the team, and in particular Will Painter, who is demonstrating that he is one of the best collegiate players in the country.”
Painter was supported on the team by James Wadsworth of Chesterfield, Josh Williams of Chevin, Will Davidson of Breadsall Priory and Olivia Kelley of Erewash Valley.
