Can we all stop worrying about Tiger?
In the first episode of a new series, NCG’s Dan Murphy tells Alex Perry why Tiger Woods is not finished as a professional golfer.
Welcome to The Slam, National Club Golfer’s brand spanking new weekly series taking an irreverent look back on the biggest talking points of the previous seven days.
Where else would we start for the very first episode? We arrived at NCG Towers bright and early on Friday morning buzzing with ideas, only to see Tiger Woods had pulled out of the Dubai Desert Classic, citing a “bad back”.
While NCG’s Joe Urquhart’s mind was made up – it is time for Woods to call it a day – Dan Murphy wasn’t so sure, so he joined me in the Slam studio to tell us exactly why we shouldn’t be getting so worked up about the 14-time major champion’s latest setback.
Do you agree with Dan? Should we cut Tiger some slack? Or do you think it’s just time for him to forget about ever winning that elusive 15th? Let us know in the comments below, or you can tweet us or write on our Facebook page.
