It’s the last major championship of the 2025 men’s golf season, but what is the TV schedule for the Open Championship at Royal Portrush?
This year’s event will take place from July 17-20, with the Dunluce playing host for the third time, and the first time since Shane Lowry’s victory in 2019.
American Xander Schauffele will be the defending champion after winning the Claret Jug by two shots at Royal Troon last year.
There is great anticipation around this event, as there always is for The Open, but more so now because Rory McIlroy is returning to his home country as the Masters champion and a grand slam winner.
Last time, he missed the cut in gutwrenching fashion, so he will want to right that wrong. He has disappointed somewhat in the US Open and the PGA Championship.
Scottie Scheffler will arrive at the course as World No.1, and J.J. Spaun will arrive as the US Open winner after his heroics at Oakmont Country Club.
As per usual, Sky Sports will have wall-to-wall coverage of the event in the United Kingdom. Below, we have details on the British Open 2025 TV schedule, but not the US guide as of yet. We will revisit this when we have more details as far as this is concerned.
In the days preceding the event in tournament week, Sky Sports will no doubt have extensive coverage of the practice days, including interviews and on-the-range footage.
