It’s always one of the biggest talking points ahead of the Augusta showpiece, so we decided to run down the Masters Champions Dinner menus served down the years.

For those that don’t know, each year on Tuesday of Masters week, the past champions of Augusta sit down and enjoy a meal together. The menu is selected and paid for by the previous year’s champion and quite often includes dishes from their  homeland.

The first dinner was arranged by Ben Hogan in 1952 following his win the previous year. The stipulations were that you had to be a past champion, plus Bob Jones and Clifford Roberts, you wore your ‘green coat’ and that you arrived, promptly, at 7.15pm. It would be a chance to “reminisce, swap banter and relax”.

We’ve detailed meals dating back all the way to 1986.
