
Who is Charley Hull?
Charley Hull is one of the biggest characters in the women’s game, having been a star from a very young age through both the amateur and professional circuits.
She showed her abilities from a young age, winning a significant 18-hole competition at Turnberry at the age of of just 9. She went on to reach the top three in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and played on the GB&I Curtis Cup team in 2012.
Hull turned professional at the start of 2013, and recorded five straight runner-up finishes on the Ladies European Tour. She was rewarded with the LET Rookie of the Year award, before then winning both the Order of Merit and Player of the Year in 2014. She has six professional titles, and three runner-up finishes in the major championships.
In 2013, Hull made history in the Solheim Cup, as she became the youngest player to ever feature in the bi-ennial tournament. She was just 17 years of age when she made her debut at the Colorado Golf Club, with her two points helping Europe to a first victory on American soil. She has not missed a Solheim Cup since, with her sixth appearance coming in the 2023 edition.
