There aren’t many better things than the final round of a major championship in golf.

The US Women’s Open has provided some extremely exciting finishes down the years. Yuka Saso won her second title at this tournament in 2024 at Lancaster Country Club by three shots.

A very exciting finish came when Saso won the US Women’s Open for the first time in 2021. Lexi Thompson made a bogey on the 72nd hole at the Olympic Club to miss out in a playoff with Saso and Nasa Hataoka. Saso eventually won with a birdie on the third playoff hole.

Another fun finish came in 2016 at CordeValle Golf Club in California when Brittany Lang beat Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist in a playoff, after Nordqvist had put herself in with a great chance with an eagle on the 15th hole.

Michelle Wie West won an exciting edition in 2014, which proved to be her only major triumph. Despite making a double-bogey on the 16th hole on Pinehurst No.2, she made a birdie on each of the last two holes to win the event by two shots from Stacy Lewis and finish as the only player under par.

After a round of 2-under at Saturday, Sweden’s Maja Stark held a one-shot lead heading into the final round in 2025, with Julia Lopez Ramirez her nearest competitor.

Below, the US Womens Open tee times for the final round in 2025 will appear.
