How much did each player earn at Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico?

Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico is a new venue in the LIV Golf League and replacing El Camaleon in Mayakoba.

In 2023, Charles Howell III won the event at El Camaleon which used to be a host venue on the PGA Tour. In 2024, Joaquin Niemann won in Mayakoba and has maintained his role as one of LIV’s best players by winning in Singapore in 2025 as well.

On each occasion, Howell III and Niemann banked $4 million for winning the event and this is the staple purse for a tournament winner in the LIV Golf League since it was born in 2022. Niemann stormed to Singapore success in 2025, carding a six-under-score in the final round to beat Brooks Koepka by five shots. He also picked up $4 million.

The LIV Golf Mexico City event was booked in the same week as the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour, which is one of the only pairs events that appears on the circuit which was won by Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry in 2024.

Niemann won for the fifth time in his LIV Golf career at Club de Golf Chapultepec, finishing three shots clear of Lucas Herbert and Bryson DeChambeau. He won $4 million for his troubles.

While the payouts for LIV Golf events are $20 million, the complete total is $25 million as there is $5 million divided among the winning teams. In 2025, Legion XIII GC won by two shots in Mexico and earned the lion’s share of the team earnings. They earned $750,000 each but that is invested back in the team.

The four-man squad in second place, the Rippers, earned $375,000 a piece and the team in third, Torque, earned $125,000 each, but as we’ve said, this figure gets invested back into the team. It is believed it doesn’t go in the players’ pockets.
