There will be more than 40 tournaments in more than 25 countries around the world, and a record prize fund of over $150 million on offer across the 2025 DP World Tour schedule.
Following the big change to the calendar for the 2024 campaign, the 2025 season will also see five ‘Global Swings’. They will then be followed by the ‘Back Nine’, including some of the most historic events on the DP World Tour.
The 2025 DP World Tour season will then culminate in its final phase – the DP World Tour Play-offs. This will be back-to-back events in the United Arab Emirates – the Abu Dhabi Championship and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
The five Rolex Series events – the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Genesis Scottish Open, BMW PGA Championship, Abu Dhabi Championship and the DP World Tour Championship – remain the same, though the first three of those have been moved slightly earlier in the year.
The Turkish Airlines Open and the Austrian Alpine Open return to the calendar in the European Swing, while the Nedbank Golf Challenge makes its return in the Opening Swing, which takes place in the last six weeks of 2024.
In May 2025, it was announced Trump International Golf Links Scotland will host the Scottish Championship from August 7-10. It is the penultimate event in the Closing Swing and the course will host back-to-back events on the Legends Tour and the DP World Tour.
“We are honoured to host the Scottish Championship on the DP World Tour at our iconic property,” said Eric Trump. “2025 is an incredible year for Trump International, Scotland, as we proudly welcome two world-class tournaments and celebrate the highly anticipated grand opening of our new championship links course.
“This significant milestone reflects the hard work of our team and is a true testament to the exceptional golf and hospitality we deliver in Scotland.”

2025 also sees the return of the Ryder Cup, which will take place in its usual September spot. This time, Luke Donald’s European team will travel to New York to take on Team USA at Bethpage Black.
Keith Pelley, the DP World Tour’s previous Chief Executive, said: “Our 2025 schedule once again demonstrates and celebrates the truly global nature of the DP World Tour.
“The introduction of the Global Swings in the current season has given us a strong, clear narrative that showcases the diversity of our membership and the places and cultures we visit. This will be further enhanced through the return of national Opens in Turkey and Austria in the first phase of our 2025 season.”
