'F*** it!' Rock star rages at course dress code in fiery rant

The drummer from Kings of Leon has been left raging after a “bucket list” golf course imposed a dress code policy on the rockstar which he accused of being from the “1950s”.

In a series of scathing tweets, Nathan Followill slammed the unnamed Sydney course for telling him to cover up his tattoos due to their “no tattoo policy”, insisting the venue is now on his “f*** it list”. Yikes.

“A Sydney bucket list golf course for me just went on the f*** it list,” Followill tweeted. “I was told I would have to cover up my tattoos due to a “no tattoo policy”. Welcome to the 1950s and a hell of a way to grow the game.”

And the drummer wasn’t finished there.

After the fiery rant, Followill – who’s band Kings of Leon are currently touring Down Under – then poked fun at the unnamed course by tweeting that he’d found a solution to the crisis…

Brilliant.

Unfortunately, it still remains unclear which course Followill was calling out. Although several top clubs in New South Wales do adopt a no tattoo policy, including The Australian Golf Club in Kensington, and Royal Sydney.

And, after making a lot of noise about the incident on Twitter, several names from the golf world then leapt to Followill’s support, including Asian Tour star and LIV golfer Travis Smyth, who offered to host the drummer at his own Aussie track.

What do you think? Should tattoos still be outlawed at golf clubs? Or is the law as ridiculous as this rocker makes out? Feel free to tweet us.
