Foresights Game Changer (GC) line have been growing from strength to strength with more GCQuads appearing on the PGA Tour each week. Now Foresight are back with a more affordable-option for the wider golfing community.
GC3 Launch Monitor: First impressions
To say this is the most affordable Foresight Sports product to date, it is really hard to tell. The whole package looks really high end. I like how this echos the styling of the GCQuad but has its own unique features.

This comes in at a third of the price of the GCQuad with FSX software making it a great option to fill the gap between tour and club golfers in terms of personal launch monitors.
GC3 Launch Monitor: The technology
The GC3 launch monitor uses the same advanced photometric technology seen in the companies GCQuad.
This is a combination of infrared object tracking and high-speed high-resolution cameras to precisely track the club head and ball. This allows the device to capture thousands of images per second creating a virtual 3D model.
The GC3 has three precision cameras for both ball and club data. There are four ways for you to connect to the device. It also has a touch screen display that’s easy to read indoors and out and gives you real time data.

The GC3 can be used as part of an indoor simulator, outside in a net and of course outside on the range or golf course.
The GC3 captures the following data:
Ball data: Ball speed, Launch angle, Side angle, Total spin, Backspin, Spin axis, Side spin
Club data: Club speed, Efficiency, Angle of attack, Club path
There are numerous package options available including simulation packages such as the Sim-in-a-box range.
