Our Benross HTX Compressor irons review took place at the Golf Shack at Moor Allerton in Leeds.
We were very impressed with the original Benross HTX irons but they have now been updated with new tech for 2017.
Benross HTX Compressor irons review – First impressions

Like last time around we have two models – a regular and a Type-R.
The regular is a bit chunkier and will appeal more to those who need a bit of help getting the ball in the air.
We’ve got a bit more technology in the Type-R model, a nicer finish and a slightly sleeker look at address.

Both come in at very friendly price points which is what you would expect from Benross.
But the components are very good with a KBS shaft and a Lamkin Grip UTx in the samples we tested.
Benross HTX Compressor irons review – The technology
There’s heel and toe weighing for more stability in the regular model and a dampner is used in the cavity of the Type-R for better sound and feel.
