It’s a company first for Adidas as they reveal their first dual dial Boa golf shoe, the Adidas Tour 360 XT Twin Boa.
Adidas Tour 360 XT Twin Boa: First impressions
Having never tried a shoe with a fit system like this, I was intrigued to see how they performed. Additionally, the design is very classic looking Adidas which is never a bad thing.
Adidas Tour 360 XT Twin Boa: The technology
This is the first Adidas golf shoe to feature two Boa dials, designed to offer adjustability across two separate zones. The upper zone provides a secure fit around the collar and prevent power leakage throughout the swing. The side mounted dials help to hold your heels securely in place.
The lower zone provides micro-adjustability from the middle to bottom instep for customised fit and support. The Boa system can be used to adjust the shoe as precisely as one millimeter per click always providing you with a perfect fit.
The shoes feature the Boa L6 system dial which as well as providing a precision fit has maximum impact protection to keep you going no matter how much force you put through your shoes.
It is combined with the CS1 laces that use 49 strands of stainless steel wrapped in nylon to provide flexible strength. The coating is designed to withstand abrasion and shed dirt, debris and water. Simply click the dial down and rotate to tighten to your perfect fit. The Boa system is waterproof and extremely durable suitable for all conditions you may face out on the course.
It features the same TPU outsole we saw earlier this year in the Adidas Tour 360 XT. A new eight-spike execution is combined with the X-Traxion secondary lugs for additional grip and stability.
