All the Gear: New releases from Cobra and Puma, and the £2,000 GPS

In her latest round-up of all things golf equipment, Hannah Holden purrs over the latest GPS technology, Cobra's new retro iron, and Ocean Tee continue to impress

It’s not just the PGA Tour that’s back this week, I’ve finally got some new equipment releases to talk about as things return to some sort of normality. Where better to start than with the new Tag Heuer golf watch?

Tag Heuer Connected Golf Edition watch

Tag Heuer Golf Watch

Tag Heuer have joined the golf GPS game with their Connected Golf Edition watch.

The watch and the associated app have almost 40,000 courses pre-mapped. Course missing? They’ll have it on there within 48 hours. All the functions you expect are here, and after each round you can get a series of insightful statistics, including putting average, longest drive and score distribution.

But two grand for just a golf watch? Don’t be silly. This is as useful off the course as it is on it. Not only does it look great, but you can track running, cycling, walking and workout sessions.

You’ll have to wait for the full review for more. That’ll be later in the year once I get my hands on one of these beauties.

Available: Now
RRP: £2,100

Cobra King Utility iron

Cobra King Utility Iron

Finally, some new golf clubs to talk about! And it’s in the shape of a new utility iron from Cobra.

Modern technology combined with classic styling, Cobra say the muscleback design provides controlled ball flights while the wider sole and hollow body give you stability and power.

They feature Cobra’s MyFly8 technology, which provides the user with eight adjustable loft settings so you can dial in your preferred trajectory and make sure your clubs are perfectly gapped.

And, of course, the Arccos-powered Cobra Connect is integrated.

More on this once I get one in my bag.

Available: June 12
RRP: £169/179 (steel/graphite)

Puma Ignite NXT Crafted shoes

Puma are at the races too, launching a fresh take on their popular Ignite NXT Crafted shoes that combine the technology of Puma’s NXT range with the look of handmade premium footwear.

And we’ve got not one but THREE pairs to give away. All you have to do is head over to our Twitter account to find out how to win.

RRP: £110
