Callaway Rogue ST Fairway Woods: The technology
If we take a look inside the club head you can see the new Jailbreak system in gold which has been completely redesigned. There are two separate Jailbreak batwings which have been pushed out to the perimeter. These make the body of the club stiffer while allowing the face to flex and increasing ball speeds.
Launch and spin has been optimised thanks to the tungsten speed cartridge. In the Max model there is 27 grams of high-density tungsten in the sole. This has moved the centre of gravity lower and forward reducing spin and also adding ball speed.
Each fairway model and each loft has its own custom AI designed face to optimise speed, launch and spin for that’s club performance requirements.
The club face is made from a C300 managing steel which is specially treated for high strength and flexibility. Integrated into this is the flash face cup which provides spin and speed consistency across the face.
