After weeks of various controversies in the build up to The Match, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson finally got to play some golf. Here's how it went down

It wasn’t the spectacle we were promised. It wasn’t the golf we imagined. But it was still the greatest player of all time and golf’s finest showman going head-to-head in The Match with high stakes on the line.

It took 22 holes at Shadow Creek, which only yielded six birdies, for Phil Mickelson to take down Tiger Woods, win the controversial $9 million, earn $600,000 to charity, and leave with all the bragging rights.
