What’s in Sami Valimaki’s bag?
Sami Valimaki has become the first Finnish player to be named the European Tour’s Rookie of the Year. It follows on from an impressive 2020 season including winning the Oman Open after he defeated Brandon Stone in a playoff.
We take a look in the bag of the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year winner…
What’s in Valimaki’s bag?
Sami is a TaylorMade staffer and quickly made the switch into the companies new SIM model in his driver. He pairs this with the SIM Max fairway wood.
He has a TaylorMade SIM Max 3-hybrid before transitioning into the new TaylorMade P7MC irons.
Rather unusually he uses two models of TM wedges. Two TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 wedges before adding a TaylorMade Milled Grind Hi-Toe lob wedge.
He rounds out his bag with the TaylorMade Spider X Copper putter and the TaylorMade TP5x golf ball.
