RBC Heritage report: What happened at Harbour Town Links?

In a tight final round, it was the world number 113, CT Pan, who came out on top to win his first PGA Tour title.

The 27-year-old shot a stunning final round of 67, to claw back a 2-shot deficit on Sunday as overnight leader Dustin Johnson faltered.

Pan showed some serious composure heading down the stretch and despite a bogey at 15, he bounced back with a birdie at the 16th and from there par’s were enough.

Shane Lowry returned to the top of the leaderboard on Sunday and opened up a two-shot lead on the front-nine but a double-bogey at 12 all but ended his challenge.

Elsewhere, Ian Poulter’s weekend ended in disappointment as he slumped to a final round of 2-over-par and Patrick Cantlay notched another top-10 finish continuing his fine form.
