The clubs Kuchar used to win the Sony OpenJanuary 14, 2019 Golf Equipment
Check out which clubs helped the American to his ninth PGA Tour win
Matt Kuchar ended a four-year wait for victory earlier this season and has now landed another within two months – despite accusations from another player about caddie payments.
No jokes about buses here.
And he notched both wins with pretty much a bag full of Bridgestone clubs.
Golfers in the UK won’t be that familiar with Bridgestone as a golf hardware brand but with Tiger Woods and Bryson Dechambeau using their ball, they have certainly grown in presence.
Like Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker is a staff player when it comes to both clubs and ball.
Kuchar has also been helping raise the profile of Bettinardi putters on tour.
He was working with the brand long before Francesco Molinari signed a deal with them at the start of 2018.
Kuchar actually has his own bespoke model which he uses along with his customary arm-lock grip.
Aside from Bridgestone driver, hybrid irons and wedges, the nine-time PGA Tour winner does have a few other interesting clubs in his bag.
He has been using the brand new Titleist TS2 fairway wood.
His 4-iron replacement is a five-year-old Ping Anser.
And as well as the Bridgestone J4o Forged wedges he uses a couple of Cleveland RTX-4 models.
He uses the same ball as DeChambeau which is the Tour B X.
