LPGA Tour stars face off at Bethpage
The charity golf matches keep on coming as four major champions faced off raise thousands for those fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
Inbee Park and So-Yeon Ryu took on Lydia Ko and Pernilla Lindberg in two 18-hole matches – one fourball, one foursomes – on a virtual version of Bethpage State Park’s famous Black course.
The LPGA Tour stars, who have won 12 majors between them, were playing on Golfzon simulators, with Park and Ryu at Zoimaru, a golf centre in Daejon in their native South Korea, and Ko and Lindberg at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St Augustine, Florida.

Ko and Lindberg won the first match 1-up with a birdie at 18, while Park and Ryu cruised the second match 5&4. Each team won $10,000 for their chosen charities
The LPGA Tour plans to return on July 15 at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational having not played since February.
