Hitting your irons heavy and catching them fat can be one of the most frustrating things to happen out on the course.
PGA teaching professional Rob Watkins talks you through the reasons why you might be catching it heavy and how you can eradicate it from your game.

What you want to try and do is get the handle ahead of the club face so you are striking down on the ball. It also avoids that early release of the club when you are trying to help the ball up into the air.
